Frustrated with the lack of premium denim available in Japan, Mr Tsunemi began importing, repairing and re-selling used American jeans. After extensive research and preparation, he later launched his own denim brand in 1961.
An anagram of the word ‘denim’ with the ‘m’ inverted, streetwear favourite Edwin is responsible for transforming the denim industry.
