Glass Boutique is very proud to be one of only a handful of stockists to present the latest menswear from British label, Universal Works, a new label all about good honest menswear. Universal Works was founded by David Keyte, who began his career in fashion at Paul Smith managing a store in Nottingham and later moving into product development and production management both at Paul Smith and with a range of leading brands. With over 20 years experience in the fashion industry under his belt Universal Works was founded prior to its first collection in AW09 underpinned by a desire to create quality garments less about designer labels and more about the function, fit and cut of the garments.

The collections are loosely inspired by workwear, quality fabrics, well made and easy to wear. Universal Works work with a number of smaller factories, often based in the UK, crafting honestly made garments that are never mass produced, giving the collection a unique edge.
